HOF CHILDREN’s DAY REPORT
Hand of Favor Global Care & Support Foundation, a non-profit organization who has been
sponsoring themselves since 2011, has embarked on another outreach on 27th of May 2023,
to celebrate children’s day and donate food items at Gidan Bege Orphanage Home in Benue
State, Makurdi.
Children are our future leaders, our future doctors, nurses, lawyers, engineers, teachers,
pilots, architect, etc. Hand of Favor Global Care and Support Foundation believes that once
you celebrate a child, you are also uplifting and ushering them into a better version of
themselves by teaching them, love, value and self-worth. A child that experiences so much
love is a child that is confident.
One of the aim for the foundation is to build up self-esteem of children and young adults, and
some of the ways to do that is by encouraging, celebrating, and sharing everlasting memories
with them.
The team had an amazing time playing several gaming activities and bonding with the
children. A few of the children from the orphanage were also selected for educational
scholarship. The foundation currently has 15 children on yearly educational scholarships.
