Adikwu Gabriel Morgan is a graduate of Benue State University, Makurdi, Benue State, with a degree in MBBS (BSUTH 2019) and completed his horsemanship at Federal Medical Centre Makurdi in 2020, after which he obtained primary in Pediatrics with the West African College of Physician 2021 and currently doing his residency in Pediatrics and child health department of BSUTH.
In the course of his studies and work, he has volunteered for various humanitarian services ranging from providing free medical/surgical care to providing counselling and emotional support as well as rendering financial assistance, and mobilizing others to do the same.
As a student, he rallied his colleague to privately sponsor chemotherapy sessions for some indigent cancer patients in the Pediatrics Department, an experience that formed a turning point in his life when he decided to become a Pediatrician, seeing just how much little effort could impact the lives of these little ones. He also volunteered for many medical outreaches, including the “30,000 Healthcare Outreach” in Kogi State, Nigeria with World Christian Medical Mission, in July 2017, and Medical Outreach to N.K.ST Hospital Zaki- Biam, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State, December 2017.
While working at Saint Monica’s Hospital Adikpo a Referral Centre for the UNHCR, he worked closely with the health team at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) camp in Benue State, where he catered to the health needs of Cameroonian refugees, as well as attending to and tracking retroviral disease patients for data capturing and logistics planning.
Adikwu worked as a Medical Officer during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with the Nigerian Air-force Medical Centre Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. He was part of a five-man committee that organized outreach to the Orphanage as a part of the Community development service prerequisite for passing out parade.
As an enthusiast of humanitarian service and givebacks, Adikwu is delighted to join Hand of Favor Global Care and Support Foundation, and be a part of its mission and vision.
He will serve as the Doctor (paediatrician)of the team.
